If traffic on Northeast Halsey Street in Hollywood gets even more congested this month, don’t put all the blame on Providence Medical Systems. According to Providence spokesperson Gary Walker, Pacific Power and Light, Comcast and Excel will be replacing their power poles on this stretch of the street, adjacent to Providence’s Halsey Center now under construction, and restricting traffic at times to one lane in each direction through the first half of February. Work on the six-story, 238,000-square-foot office building continues, Walker says, and should be complete by the summer.
