After seven years selling high-quality goods on eBay, Bonnie Jensen has returned to her roots on Northeast Fremont Street, and opened a space featuring select resale clothing. She offers cotton, silk and wool garments and accessories that are in perfect or near-perfect condition, and designer names in abundance. All items are clean, pressed and ready to roll!
“There will be lots of fun and pretty things that I’ve collected in my travels over the last year or so,” says Bonnie. “Only fairly new designer or vintage duds will be my baseline. I want to keep in line with my former shop style: clean, crisp, ready to love and wear items.”
Bonnie has long held a commitment to green living, and resale clothing is recycling at its best. Well-made clothes in natural fibers stand the test of time, and also the test of the wallet, as they are a bargain compared to buying new. They look better and feel better than synthetic stuff, and eventually they can biodegrade—no landfill longevity to insult Mother Nature.
The store’s official grand opening is Saturday, May 1. “I’m so happy to be back in the neighborhood,” Bonnie says. “I hope you will come by soon to visit and do some browsing.”
Shop hours are currently noon–5:30 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, and noon–5 p.m. on Saturdays. Bonnie’s new address is 4730-B N.E. Fremont St., and the new phone number is (503) 546-7990.
