The Brokers representing the top 10 percent of production with Windermere Cronin & Caplan Realty Group were honored for their perseverance during another challenging year in the real estate market with a celebratory luncheon at Waverley Country Club. Brian and Joan Allen, co-owners of the local real estate company, also wanted to congratulate the top Brokers for a year of generous philanthropic giving through the Windermere Foundation.
In 2009, the ten offices of Windermere Cronin & Caplan Realty Group raised nearly $75,000 for local charities supporting homeless and low-income families; the top 10 percent of the company’s Brokers donated 36 percent of this.
“2009 was a difficult year in the real estate market,” says Joan Allen. “As we dealt with the fallout from the economic recession, our Brokers had to learn to guide their buyers and sellers through the continuing web of changes with lending and appraisal rules, short sales and foreclosures. In addition, they had to support clients through the emotions of job loss, fear of job loss and investment loss. The energy and creativity of our agents have proven to be valuable assets for their clients and for the company.”
The Top Agents for 2009 included Northeast Portland agents Jim Arnal, Kevin Dean, Michael Downing, Tammy Going, Billy Grippo, Susie Hunt Moran, Lenore LaTour, Diana McCredie, Jean Silver and Aimee Virnig.
