The loss of the historic Boise neighborhood home is very sad (“Historic home slated for destruction,” Letter, January 2013). Perhaps the Lake Oswego developer could be persuaded to work with the city to save the Rayworth House. The one thing we can never recover is our history. Historic preservation serves our people and our children. Instead of writing this off as a lost cause, perhaps the developer could be persuaded to become a partner.
When our heritage and history are under attack, what do we do? “Stand up and fight back!”
