According to Vic Remmers, VWR Development has submitted applications for permits to construct a 36-unit, mixed-use building on Mason Street just off Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. “We’ve gone to the neighborhood groups and met with the owner of a barber shop (being displaced by the project), and VRW has offered the owner a place in the new building,” Remmers added. The Mason Street project will have seven parking spaces.
