For the first time in a year, property at Northeast 62nd Avenue and Sandy Boulevard occupied by Tosis Restaurant for the past four decades has seen a user, if only in the parking lot. Devoid of business in 2013, the parking lot was the site for Christmas tree sales throughout December.
Rob Moneyhan of Colliers International told the Star the property’s owner lives in Seattle and has not been able to lease the building. The restaurant venue has been actively listed for lease at $5,000/month, “well within the $12 to $14 per square foot price for property in that area,” according to Moneyhan. He added that the new owner is also willing to sell the property to someone with capital who offered the “right number.”
