Bringing written material in line with recently approved regulations, the City of Portland published an updated version of its Stormwater Management Manual. The publication explains for developers and property owners how to reduce the impact of storm water runoff on sewers, groundwater, rivers and streams by detailing requirements for development, redevelopment and improvement projects on public and private property and in the public right-of-way.
Developers can access the updated manual along with the 2008 version at www.portlandoregon.gov/bes/SWMM. Free compact discs are also available at Portland’s Development Services Center, 1900 S.W. 4th Ave., or by calling (503) 823-7103.
