Northeast Fremont Street’s newest multi-unit complex, Beaumont Village Apartments, is open for business and actively seeking residents. Using the website, livebeaumontvillage.com, 30 remaining apartments are being advertised, ranging in monthly rents from $850 for 344-square-foot studios to $1,855 for 801-square-foot two-bedroom units. All units come with washer and dryer, and there is a pet policy that accommodates up to two pets per apartment with a $300 deposit and monthly pet rent of $35 along with breed and size restrictions. The ground floor of the four-story building will house retail tenants. During the past year, neighbors formed an organization separate from the Beaumont-Wilshire Neighborhood Association to oppose Beaverton developer Vic Remmers’ construction of Beaumont Village Apartments without any off-street parking. The Portland City Council upheld Remmers.
