The ColorSpot retail shop, 519 N.E. Hancock St., is offering an 8-ounce paint sample to the first 250 people who visit the shop after 9 a.m. September 15.
“As the seasons change, people begin to spend more time in their homes and do-it-yourself renovation projects become top of mind,” said Puji Sherer, vice president of marketing and chief color nerd at Colorhouse, the company behind the shop and creator of a 128-hue palette.
The retail shop is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday for the public, contractors and design professionals. Appointments are recommended for color consultations for multi-room projects at www.colorhousepaint.com.
Shop visitors may select color swatches and purchase gallons of paint. Colorhouse currently has hues from the Handcrafter Color Collection, including Wood .01, the color of butternut squash soup, and the gray tone of Metal .06, which lends a sophisticated feeling to a room.
