Beginning in July, Bob Dye took the helm at the Lloyd Center mall as general manager of the Cypress Equities property.
Prior to taking the Lloyd Center job, Dye was responsible for the management, marketing and leasing of The Shops at Wailea, located in Wailea, Hawaii. He also has a track record in the Pacific Northwest and has opened and managed Bridgeport Village, Nyberg Woods and Cascade Station for CenterCal Properties.
“When I first moved to Oregon in 1971, Lloyd Center was where my family shopped,” said Dye. “Coming full circle as general manager is an amazing and exciting opportunity.”
“I now will be involved with one of the first regional malls in the U.S. and help shepherd in a new era – as Lloyd Center undergoes an extensive and transformational renovation. With all of the vitalization within the Lloyd District, I believe we truly have a winning formula,” said Dye.
Lloyd Center is anchored by Macy’s, Sears, Marshalls, Ross Dress for Less and Barnes & Noble Booksellers. The shopping center features more than 150 specialty shops, a food court and an, iconic indoor ice skating rink. Lloyd Center is open from Monday through Saturday from 10:00am – 9:00pm and Sunday 11:00am – 6:00pm. For more information, visit www.lloydcenter.com.
