On February 1, Jason Zwick closed the doors of his State Farm agency in Beaumont Village. After eight years at that location, he will be moving one block west to join Pride Financial Partners at 4759 N.E. Fremont St., where he will work as a risk specialist.
A Portland native who serves on the board of the Beaumont Business Association, Zwick has more than ten years of experience in insurance and financial services. His areas of expertise include life, disability, long-term care and property and casualty insurance for auto, home and business.
“I’ve been a client of Pride and, while they were taking me through their planning process, I got to see all the different products they have access to,” said Zwick. “An opportunity came up to be their risk specialist, and Pride offers so many great products that I couldn’t say no. This will allow me to continue to do what I do now, with more options for my clients. I am also learning to be a financial adviser. It’s very important to me that Pride’s philosophies toward taking good care of its clients are aligned with my own.”
Zwick enjoys helping people find the right coverage for their specific situation.
“Most people don’t really understand their insurance and why they have certain coverage,” said Zwick. “I’ll sit down with them and go over why they may or may not need certain policies or coverage.”
Zwick attended La Salle High School and Concordia University on a soccer scholarship. He enjoys giving back to the community and sits on the board for Portland New Generations Rotary Chapter and the Concordia Alumni Council. He also supports various non-profits, including PHAME, Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp, the Parkrose Business Foundation, Transition Projects and Friends of the Children.
