The Regional Arts & Culture Council has planned a series of professional development workshops for artists trying to make a living with their craft.
Each workshop is $30 or less. The schedule continues Feb. 13 to June 11. The subjects include marketing, fabricators, social media, reading contracts, understanding intellectual property and grant writing.
The Feb. 13 session focused on “Narrative Mechanics: Design and Deploy Strategies for Arts Marketing.” On Feb. 21, “Off the Drawing Board,” included artists working with fabricators and the Feb. 27 title is “Happening 2016,” a homegrown music forum.
