Oregon Humanities is sponsoring a conversation about the future of housing and urban development with Portland civic leaders and developers at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, at the Alberta Rose Theatre, 3000 N.E. Alberta St.
Greg Goodman, co-president of Downtown Development Group, will be among the speakers in the Think & Drink program, which is part of a series intended “to spark provocative conversations about big ideas,” according to the sponsor.
Tickets, $7.50 and $10, are available at www.albertarosetheatre.com.
Oregon Humanities, supported by donations and grants, including those of the National Endowment for the Humanities, supports “projects that explore the human endeavor and preserve our cultural heritage.”
The January Think & Drink program, on the effects of discriminatory land ownership policies on black Oregonians, is available on YouTube.
