The city has issued a permit for the demolition of a one-story building with basement at 3503 N.E. Morris St. The property will be retained for future development.
At our May print edition’s deadline, the city was still considering an application from Portland-based Guerrilla Development for an 88-unit development on Northeast Sandy and 25th Avenue in Northeast Portland. If approved, 18 of these units will be made affordable to households earning no more than 80% of area median income. City council was expected to hear the so-called Atomic Orchard Lofts’ multiple-unit limited tax exemption application on April 26.
A permit to build a new Lexus dealership at 3075 N.E. Sandy Blvd. includes a two-story building with one level of below-grade structure. The ground floor uses will include an automotive showroom and leasable retail, and an automotive service shop is planned for the lower level. Structured parking is slated for the upper levels. Vehicular access is proposed off Northeast 31st Avenue in two locations, with no access from Northeast Sandy Blvd. The property is owned by Holman Portland Real Estate of Vancouver, Wash.
Stewart SRI Development LLC of southeast Portland has proposed a multi-dwelling, planned development on 1.33 acres at 4905 N.E. Going St. The plans include eleven units, one with an ADU, with a minimum of one unit set aside for affordable housing.
Build Urban LLC of Seattle, Wash. has applied for a permit to build a new four-story, mixed-use building with 30 apartment units and retail lobby on ground floor at 1505 N.E. Killingsworth St. No parking is planned.
