Thank you neighbors, for participating in the 2017 Fremont Holiday Fest and thanks for your generous contributions to the Pongo Fund.
Together we raised nearly $500 tonight to fight animal hunger. The Pongo Fund aims to reduce shelter populations – and keep families together – by providing emergency pet food assistance to anyone in honest need. The fund strives to protect pets from suffering, starvation, surrender and abandonment when a lack of food – but not a lack of love – is their only enemy. Hungry people have hungry pets
Sponsors for this year’s holiday fest include Car2Go, Frazier Wealth Management and Peak Mortgage with Amalfis, The Arrangement, Beaumont Barber Company, Farmers Insurance, Foot Traffic, Rockford Studios and Southfork and additional assistance from Alameda Brewing, Beaumont Hardware, Bottles, Bridgetown, Dees Golden Door, Fremont Veterinary Clinic, Gazelle, Green Dog Pet Supply, H&R Block, Paperjam Press, Perkolation Page Works, Pride Finanical, Silhouette and Umpqua Bank.
A special thanks to Leland “Santa Paws” Hanson, ace photographer Dan Carter and Star News editor Dana Busch for their help with this year’s event.
